‘Kimchi Jjigae’ or Kimchi Soup with Soft Tofu or Korean Kimchi Stew  - Korean Food Traditional Style

Korean Kimchi Soup

Ingredients:

  • Kimchi: 66g

  • Hard bean curd (Firm tofu): 150g

  • Courgette: 120g

  • Enoki mushroom: 60g

  • Sprout: 50g

  • Carrot: 60g

  • Shrimp: 60g

  • Korean chili sauce: 30g

  • Light soy sauce: 1 teaspoon

  • Salt, chicken powder, pepper powder: Moderate amount

How To Cook:

Step 1: Cut the tofu into cubes, slice the courgette and carrot.

Step 2: Fry the kimchi over low heat until fragrant.

Step 3: Add a large bowl of water, add all the ingredients and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Step 4: Add Korean chili sauce.

Step 5: Add light soy sauce, salt, chicken powder and pepper powder for seasoning.

Step 6 (can be omitted): Sprinkle chili and chopped green onion to complete.
